Blogs > Ann DeMatteo's Why Us?
Since my breast cancer diagnosis on June 9, 2008, I have spent a fairly decent amount of time wondering "why me?" I would like to hear from you about your cancer stories. Let's create a dialogue of learning, sharing and hope.

Hi Ann, you look good as a redhead! Hope you have a nice Christmas, and I wish you well with your upcoming surgery. Whatever you choose, you have to do what feels right for you. I go for my 3rd chemo on the 28th, and I'll be 3/4 done. Hair is gone south, but the wig I got is so like my own cut that people don't know it's a wig unless I tell them. I feel good, and especially blessed this Christmas that my cancer was found very early and hadn't spread. Good luck to you.
Hi Ann,
Good Luck with your up cming surgery. I have been following your blog for a while now and I wish you nothing but luck.
Dear Relay Girl and Pink Too,
Sorry I didn't write sooner. I forgot my password and had to really think for a few minutes about what it was.
Pink Too, you have been so nice. I hope you had a decent chemo on Dec. 28. My hair is just starting to grow back. And it's good that your cancer was found early. Mine was not. Before chemo, we knew I had at least one lymph node involved but when she opened me up on Tuesday, there was multiple involvement, nodes that felt hard and abnormal. Relay girl, thanks for writing. Do you participate in Relay for Life?
